What ActionBox is

ActionBox turns screenshots, links, and notes you save into action cards with reminders and a weekly digest. Your saved content is private to your account — there is no social feed and no sharing.

Data we collect

• Account: your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Content you save: screenshots, photos, links, and text you upload, plus the action cards generated from them.
• Feedback: ratings and comments you leave on cards.
• Usage events:first-party analytics such as “capture created” or “inbox opened”, used only to improve ActionBox. We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not sell data.

How your content is processed

• Storage & database: Supabase (hosted in the EU). Uploaded images live in a private bucket accessible only to your account.
• AI analysis: when you analyze a capture, the image or text is sent to OpenAI to generate your card. OpenAI processes it as a service provider; we send no other account details.
• Email: digests, reminders, and account emails are sent via Resend to the address on your account.

Retention & deletion

• Deleting a card permanently deletes its screenshot from storage.
• Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) permanently removes your account, cards, images, feedback, and settings.
• We keep data only while your account exists.

Beta quality review

During the beta, generated card text and feedback may be reviewed to improve quality. Original screenshots are reviewed only if you have explicitly opted in via “I agree to quality review during beta” in Settings.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
